The Editing Process: We spend 3 to 4 days editing your tape. The time goes into careful cutting, color matching, and audio mixing, not wild effects. (Of course, if you want wild effects, let us know). All post production and tape mastering is digital. Some of the software employed is Final Cut Pro, and Boris FX, as well as After Effects, Pro Tools Audio, and Photoshop. The length of the edited tape should be your preference. We normally shoot 3 to 4 hours of tape at a wedding and reception, including the entire ceremony. Usually, an edited event will be most entertaining and “watchable” at between 45 and 90 minutes, but you may prefer a more thorough documentation on tape. Music: The background music for your wedding and reception should be your choice. If you wish, we will choose and provide background music. Naturally, we will use music from the church and reception. DVD Mastering: Your DVD is a totally custom product. No formulas. Images and video clips your wedding will on the menus and packaging, not our advertising. Your DVD will include features such as chapter search, and animated menus with music. All audio is Dolby Digital format. All video compression is done in variable bit rate encoding. |
Production Equipment: All digital “DVCAM” format, using Sony 3CCD cameras, and wireless stereo audio equipment. This format is more stable and reliable than the Mini DV format used by most event videographers. A backup DVCAM camera will be on site for a fail-safe production.
